Parker, Pa., Nov. 9, 2009 – Central Electric Cooperative announced today the promotion of Bill Fesenmyer to manager of engineering. In his new position, Bill will be responsible for overseeing system engineering, load management, metering, staking and other Engineering Department functions.
“Bill has served Central Electric well as our system engineer for the past five years. He was instrumental in our Geographic Information System data project which converted our mapping system to a digital format and allows others to easily identify our facilities’ locations. This saves time for the co-op, and money for our members,” said Central Electric’s CEO and General Manager Larry Adams. “Bill has also worked hard to improve and upgrade our facilities, improving our system’s reliability.”
Bill is a Grove City College graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He recently completed the NRECA Management Internship Program.
Central Electric is a Touchstone Energy Cooperative serving approximately 25,000 members with over 3,000 miles of distribution lines in portions of Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Forest, Mercer and Venango counties.
