  • CEC’s Blane Neely Retires After 40 Years

    PARKER, Pa., Jan. 25, 2010 – Central Electric Cooperative (CEC) announces Blane Neely’s retirement after 40 years of service.  Blane began his career with CEC as a tree trimmer and worked his way up to line serviceman.  Blane said he really enjoyed working for CEC.

    Blane has a son, Heath, a daughter, Lee Ann and two grandchildren, Cole and Carly.  He resides in West Freedom with his wife, Heather.

    Central Electric is a Touchstone Energy Cooperative serving approximately 25,000 members with over 3,000 miles of distribution lines in portions of Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Forest, Mercer and Venango counties.

  • Angela Fair Joins Central Electric Cooperative

    PARKER, Pa., Jan. 18, 2010 – Central Electric Cooperative is pleased to welcome Angela (Angie) Fair as its new billing representative.  Her main responsibilities include processing payments and preparing for monthly billings.

    Angie has a daughter Brandi, and two sons Brandon and Brady.  She resides in Callensburg with her husband, Jeff, and two sons.

    Central Electric is a Touchstone Energy Cooperative serving approximately 25,000 members with over 3,000 miles of distribution lines in portions of Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Forest, Mercer and Venango counties.

  • CEC Announces Bechtel Promotion

    PARKER, Pa., Jan. 11, 2010 – Central Electric Cooperative announced today the promotion of Stacey Bechtel from computer systems operator to information technology specialist.  Stacey’s responsibilities include the help desk and computer support for the various hardware and software applications at the cooperative.

    Stacey will graduate from Butler County Community College in May 2010 with an associate in applied science degree as a network and PC specialist.  Stacey has worked at CEC for 10 years.  She resides in Turkey City with her husband, Dave and son, Derrick.
