Below is information on our board of directors, representing our five-county service area.
Armstrong County
Margery S. Terwilliger
Mrs. Terwilliger has been a Central Electric member since 1953, and was elected to the board of directors in 2002. She serves as vice president on the board. Marge is a charter member of the Brady’s Bend Historical Society.
Butler County
James M. Burd
Mr. Burd has been a Central Electric member since 1963, and has served as a Pennsylvania state representative from 1977 to 1991. He is the board president and is semi-retired and self employed as the owner and operator of a custom sawmill business located at his residence in Saxonburg.
Ken Durrett
Mr. Durrett has been a Central Electric member since 1996 and has served on the board of directors since June of 2009. Ken has over 25 years of business experience, having held senior level finance and chief operating executive positions with various distribution and retail companies. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Financial Executives International.
Clarion County
Jody Weaver
Mr. Weaver has been a Central Electric member since 1976, and was appointed to the board in 2008. He is the senior loan officer and assistant vice president at the First United National Bank in Fryburg where he has worked for 35 years.
Richard Weaver
Mr. Weaver has been a Central Electric member since 1978, and has served on the board of directors since 1988. He serves as Central Electric’s representative on the Allegheny Electric Cooperative Board. Mr. Weaver owns and operates Weaver Excavating and Sewage Systems.
Forest County
Bette D. Walters
Mrs. Walters has been a Central Electric member since 1977, and has served on the board of directors since 1988. She is retired from the Penn State University Cooperative Extension. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in home economics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in communications from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
Venango County
Althea M. Smith
Mrs. Smith has been a Central Electric member since 1979, and has served on the board of directors since 1995. She serves as secretary and treasurer to the board. She works for Venus Telephone Corporation and is a member of the Venango Economic Development Corporation.
Robert F. Sterrett
Mr. Sterrett has been a Central Electric member since 1954 and has served on the board of directors since 1972. He operates his grain farm in southern Venango County.
