Using your computer or mobile device, CEC has made online account management easier than ever with SmartHub. Register with SmartHub today and you can view and pay your bill, sign up for AutoPay, update account information, report an outage and view your energy usage by hour, day, month or year. As an added bonus, CEC offers a one-time $10 bill credit for enrolling in AutoPay using a checking/savings account or a debit/credit card.

Auto Pay
Want to simplify your life? Your monthly electric bill can be drafted from a bank account or a credit/debit card of your choice. Just register with SmartHub and sign up for Auto Pay.

CEC has two easy options for members wanting to pay by phone.
Call 800-521-0570 Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to speak with one of our Member Service Representatives who will gladly take your payment.
Call 844-239-0075 anytime. This automated payment system is available 24/7.

On a Budget
Members who have high bills during a part of the year and lower bills in other parts of the year, such as electric heat in the winter or air conditioning during the summer, may request to have their accounts established on the budget plan.
Payment under this plan permits members to pay a specified amount each month for electric service. All accounts using budget payments must be paid in full in April which is the end of the budget year. If the member’s bill shows a credit balance, indicating over payment for the year, the credit may be applied toward the next budget year, or be refunded upon request.

Paperless Benefits
Did you know for every 1,000 members who are paperless, over 24,000 envelopes, 36,000 sheets of paper and $5,000 in postage is saved each year?
The following payment options allow for paperless billing: online bill payment through SmartHub, AutoPay, or bill pay service offered through your bank.
Signing Up
- If you are not currently signed up for SmartHub:
- Sign up for online account access through SmartHub and complete the information required.
- Log into your SmartHub account, click on My Profile (in the top menu), choose Update My Printed Bill Settings. Click on Turn Off Printed Bills -- choose Yes to confirm.
- If you have an existing account with SmartHub:
- Log into your SmartHub account, click on My Profile (in the top menu), choose Update My Printed Bill Settings. Click on Turn Off Printed Bills -- choose Yes to confirm.
