Update: Weekend Outage Restoration Efforts
PARKER, Pa., July 4, 2026 - On Friday, July 3, a significant evening storm passed through CEC’s service territory causing widespread damage across our system.
As of 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, approximately 1200 CEC members remain without electricity.
CEC has engaged additional crews and will continue to restore power as safely and efficiently as possible. Individual restoration times will vary depending on the extent of damage.
As additional inclement weather is still forecasted for the weekend, all members are encouraged to keep outage safety top of mind and be prepared.
CEC understands how difficult prolonged power outages can be, especially during extreme heat, and we thank members for their continued patience and understanding as restoration continues.
